I am not high on Lamas. I never have been and I usually pick him to lose. So take this with a grain of salt. Mendes is significantly better at every facet of MMA. He also has an edge in several intangibles (chin, power, etc.). Mendes *should* blow Lamas out of the water. 3.5 rounds is a long time against a fighter who hits as hard as Mendes especially when there is a talent disparity as large as this is.

Lamas BJJ and kicking game is better. But it all depends on if he actually engages him in a brawl, which I'm not sure he will.

it shouldn't be a big card for me. i have no clue on the first two fights of the night. no clue if i'll bother with chiesa-clarke, either. might end up w/$ on lamas, but i might wait until mid fight card to bet that, after i see if live betting is up (skeptical, being so early on saturday).

i have a fair amount on pena, actualy.. 1.5u in parlays and 0.75u (or so) in props. that's about as big as i'll go, though.
i did break that rule a few months ago, and i paid dearly for it. huge mistake. i had 6 units on andrea lee vs modaferri. at like -190 net. and roxy got to like +500 on fight night, i think, and i didn't hedge.
pathetic bet, but it reaffirmed: can't trust 'em
