Already put 5u on McGregor in USA +160. What I will "do with it" I'm still not entirely sure.

Yea, probably left some free money on the table

I really liked McGregor at +160, but no way was I going to lock up a significant portion of my bankroll until May. Even if I could have freerolled it later. Way too many fights between now and then.

speaking of the fight itself..

i GOTTA think aldo is going to kick his damned legs off... am i off?

Personally I have Aldo at 2/11 favourite but the hype for Conor will keep the money rolling in and a relatively balanced book with Aldo at around 4/7.

Around 48 hours before fight night those odds will tumble to around 1/4 as the pro's come steaming in for their free money.

I would love to get aldo at a signigicantly reduced price

Appreciate the perspective of someone who sets odds on how the money will come in, thanks!

So just so I'm following, in American odds, you'd cap Aldo @ -450 but expect the odds to settle around -175 before jumping back up to -400? In other words, crush Aldo now.

Pretty much. I would personally have Aldo as a -450 heavy favourite but the money keeps rolling in for Conor from Johnny Come Latelys. Bookies will lengthen Aldo as they shorten Conor. Aldo presently available around -200 which is stealing money, when the pro's start lumping on then those odds tumble and I predict around -400 come fight night.

Assuming you think Aldo leg kicks connor into a living death ?

I don't disagree... I just wonder how aldo will deal with connors reach and size.
I mean aldo hardly impressed against hominck ( supposedly he had a "cold " )

he still won the first 4 rounds and that was his worst performance in zuffa (hominick)

i absolutely think leg kicks are going to be a prime factor in this fight.

also, i wanna just touch on something that is more aldo related than aldo-cowboy related... aldo's cardio.

many many people say he has shit cardio. he lost rd 5 vs hominick, lost rd 5 vs lamas.. but i counter that with: he didn't have to win the round. he was clearly up 40-36.

frankie edgar is a cardio god. not many can say they have better cardio than frankie. if any. and that was a pretty close fight with aldo.. and who won rd 5? aldo. clearly. cause he had to...

just saying :)

Do you think Aldo wins the fight against mendes if he doesn't hit him two times after the bell in the first round and drops him ?
