Im surprised Formiga is a dog to Benavidez, Am i missing something here?
@punisherind (and anyone else that is prebetting Rocco) Re your Rocco bets. You think Rocco can stop the takedowns? Ive been fading Maia consistently in all of his fights but with Rocco's TDD of 50% i wonder whether Rocco will be able to stop Maia's TD.
Definitely Rocco live for me @ +odds but flip flopping on pre.
I see Maia as a better Sergio and Sergio got him down 3 times. Maia wont let him get back up if he gets him down imho.
(about to rewatch sergio vs Rocco fight now)
I believe he can keep it standing, but im probably going to hedge a little on maia sub.
I was looking at Maia Not be decision but it doesn't pay enough.
UFC Minneapolis early official weigh-in stream from earlier this morning:
Pretty shady looking weigh-in when Eryk Anders stepped on the scale. The commission guy pushes the slider on the mechanical scale over, barely looked at it when Anders stepped on the scale, and then yells out "185" for Anders' weight for this light heavyweight bout. The MMA Junkie guys behind the camera start discussing what weight class this is supposed to be and then about a minute later Anders comes back out and weighs-in again and the commission guy says 205 this time. Pretty much it looked like he was just saying the weight he expected the first time, not what it actually was.
UFC Minneapolis ceremonial weigh-ins:
Emily "Spitfire" Whitemire living up to her moniker, coming out hot, pushing with Amanda Ribas, Dana had to separate them. Says she wants a bonus to buy a summer house in Minnesota. Might have to play the sub prop & under 2½ there.
Ricardo Ramos a lot bigger than short notice Journey Newson. Paul Craig a lot taller/bigger than Alonzo Menifield. Demian Maia on the other hand not taller or looking as big as I expected compared to former lightweight Anthony Rocco Martin.
@Will couldnt pull the trigger on formiga?
Thought he looked very ordinary at weigh ins. Going to pass.
