Went really big on Montana De La Rosa around -249 & -250 to win a grand. She will have a size and strength advantage, improved striking with more power, better wrestling and submission ability and has fought tougher opponents as well as comes from a better camp while Aussie Nadia Kassem is coming up in weight from strawweight to flyweight, her best win was 39 year old Alex Chambers by decision and is recovering from injury, depression and anorexia.
Also bet Rani Yahya at +106 over Ricky Simon to win 4 units. Simon's wrestling could put him right in the submission danger zone and Yahya can beat most unless they have really good striking, wrestling and submission defense.
I bit on Smilin' Sam at +111. Huge experience advantage and Crute will likely bring the fight to Sam, opening himself up for a huge counter-punch. Even Sam's low leg kicks are tricky.
Also took some on Kai Kara-France -285. I suspect he gets a knockout at home or wins a wide decision.
Totals I grabbed so far: Anderson/Israel over 1½ -125; DLR/Kassem Under 2½ +120.
Also took Whittaker/Gastelum Over 2½ at -200 at betonline, only major book that opened it to my knowledge. Might open at -115 at a total of 3½ if other books follow whoever set the line I see at BFO for SportsInteraction.
my max bet on props at 5dimes is $50. Is that the same for everyone else? this is new for me.
If you play at dimes, starts Rd 3 -185 is available.
Been like that for a while for KO & submission props, but when it got closer to the fights the limit used to go up a bit. ITD & decision props were and still are limited to $125.
Pretty specific prediction from one of Whittaker's coaches:
man, israel down to -465
Don’t say that. What’s up?
Damn it’s true. I just woke up many aussies probably still in bed.
