There's also apparently some kind of miniature Rizin card the day before on Sunday December 30th comprised of these five MMA fights and a kickboxing bout. Not sure it will even be streamed, but included for completeness.

Is it true that the Mayweather fight has no judges?

The official rizinstaff account on Reddit posted this:

3 minutes per round for 3 rounds, Straight boxing rules, Both will wear either RIZIN 8 ounce gloves, Weight: 147lbs/67.7kg, No judges, This will be a full contact competition, but the bout is not going on boxing or MMA records. [And also] No decisions for this Exhibition bout.

Looks like I won $50 on the prop "Rules of the bout: Boxing". But it appears that there will be no way to determine a winner unless someone gets stopped.

Take away the stupid Floyd/Tenshin exhibition bout, assuming it even happens, and this is a good NYE JMMA card. Or more accurately card and a half.

At least a few books have odds now, but not many yet. I have early money on Caldwell at slight + money miraculously vs Horiguchi- the size difference is two full weight classes and he's the best wrestler Horiguchi has faced. The ring may be an issue for Caldwell, but I'll take my chances at these odds. Plus now I'm on Cruickshank at -270 over Randy Brown; very big on Prochazka as a favorite over short notice and undersized Halsey; on Yachi as an underdog to Case, Kape as an underdog to Sasaki; Motoya as a sizable dog to Scoggins and a few other spots.

Any books apart from bovada have the May weather line? I’ve checked my usuals and can’t find.

Not that I saw. Could end up in an argument about grading anyway with an exhibition with no judges. I recommend passing.

mybookie had a line when it was first announced. mayweather was +100! but they voided the bets after floyd said he was backing out.

might have to hop on chat and bitch about it.

So glad i couldnt find a line. I would of bet on the Asian guy at + odds. What a farce, Mayweather has not showed stopping power for years. ( Connor stopped fighting ).
That first knock down was a flop. The other punches looked real but think Nasukawa used them as an excuse to fall to the ground as opposed to legitimately being discombobulated.

I read so many of the fix theories online, mostly by nudniks without a clue, so I am surprised to read it here. Nasukawa is a 20 year old kid who fights at 55 kg or 121 pounds. He's not even a boxer and he was tiny compared to Floyd, the greatest boxer ever. Unlike bigger men like Conor or Canelo, Floyd had little to fear from Tenshin's power. He caught him with punches on the head and messed up his equilibrium and he never really recovered. Besides, why would Rizin want their Japanese star to get embarrassed like this and have him flop or his corner throw in the towel and have him crying like a bitch on national tv?
