Watched "Get Out" great film!
I'm not sure if anyone mentioned California Split. It's a classic gamblers flick. If u haven't seen it be sure to check it out.
Whatever you do, don't watch "Why Him" just nah, don't do it.
Agree, Peele is a genius. We're gonna see great things from him. Wifey's got a great ass too. Big Eyetalian nose but great ass.
Watched it last night. Fun flick.
Man - how are they going to make The Dark Tower into a movie and then cast Idris Elba as the gunslinger - are they just going to write Detta out of the movie? Very disappointing.
I don't see how they could fit that motherfucker into a 2-3 hour movie in any sort of way what so ever anyway. So many different settings and setpieces has to be explored to give even a somewhat comprehensive view / character development and so on.
Should be a series no doubt, with a GOT type budget.
Worth a watch for an online only show.
Anyone seen a show called the leftovers? fucking amazing
I'm a fan.
First season was by far the best. I am unsure why they remade/rebranded it in seasons 2/3.
Started watching S3 last night. I don't know where they're going with this.
I agree it was strange pacing, but I loved all three seasons. and that ending had me thinking for a while.
"The bad batch" strangest film I've seen in a while. 9/10
Hell or highwater
Depressing as fuck movie with a note of humour to not make it altogether too dark. Actually had a message for once. 4/5. Jeff bridges does well as the surly old policeman on the brink of retirement, and Ben Foster in his standard "im insane and give 0 fucks" type roll.
Didn't do it for me. Like post-apocalyptic vibes, but this movie was a 3/10 for me.
2 shows I got into lately:
1. Queen Of The South: based on a latin girl who becomes a drug lord.
2. El Chapo: based on the legend himself.
Both are on Netflix.
Just saw valerian
Had no expectations...
First half of the movie: 10/10. I was enthralled. So gorgeous, such a crazy world...
Then came a semblance of a plot and its predictable conclusion(s). Got bored as hell in the final act. Pulled a 10/10 down to a 7 or 8 at best.
I'm not familiar with Rhianna. Apparently she's very famous. I have no idea who she is. What I do know is: she is the worst actress I've ever seen and when she came into the movie I started not giving a shit anymore.
Questionable casting on the main two protagonists, but it was a fun ride, until it wasn't.
But seriously.. everything up until Rhianna ... 10/10. Don't regret going to theater
Ozark on Netflix is money.
